I have been on 20 big game hunts U.S. and Canada. This was by far the best experience I have had. “HONEST” hard working family unit that has a fantastic hunting area with a very big supply of game & very good quality. The area is not over hunted and Ron and his sons know the area and animals and do a class “A” job. If someone wants a great hunt, great time, I would highly recommend the Steffey operation as one of the best I have seen in 30 years.

YOU ARE ONE OF THE FEW PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD WHO HAD A DREAM AND ARE ABLE TO LIVE IT, I AM PROUD TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SHARE A SMALL PART OF IT WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

WELL, I THINK IT'S TIME TO START SAVING AGIAN AS I WOULD LOVE FOR MY SON TO HAVE THE EXPERIENCE I WAS ABLE TO HAVE

We continue to tell our stories of the incredible trip to your neck of the woods. When we show pictures it has become the norm for folks to gasp when they see Brome and Clayton standing vertically on a mountainside trying to reach Johnny’s goat. Indeed you boys went above and beyond (literally) the call of duty! Words can’t express the time we all had with you. You are a very gracious family and provide such an incredible wilderness experience. 

The experience was more than I could ever have dreamed and Ron Steffey, Wanda, Clayton, and Leaf were some of the most remarkable individuals that I have ever met! Their professionalism combined with the family atmosphere was something I will truly remember and cherish. 

So glad I was able to come on the hunt. I will never forget it. You were an awesome guide Hawk. Thanks for “pushing” me up the mountain! 

This was not just the best hunting trip ever.... but the best experience I have had to date.....Leaf is an extraordinary guide and person. I can't thank you and your family enough for the hospitality and great time........This all aside I would love to come back next year if you'll have me.

Just getting out of your normal environment can be educational, however, being around you and your family was like getting a Master degree in living off the land. I can’t thank you enough for the experience you added to the hunt. Your place tops the list of places I want to return to in the world. Thanks again for a hunt I will never forget and always want to do again. I hope to take my son on this trip when he gets a little older.

I think of your family often, and have fond memories of my stay there. Someday I hope to come back and spend at least as much time with you as I did last year. What a wonderful trip we had. It was a true joy for me to get to spend the time with you all that I did. The scenery and terrain some of the most beautiful that I have ever seen. But, what is most important is people, and everyone of you played an important part in making those 10 days a true joy.  

I got all our hides to the Taxidermist that Monday. He said they all looked great. He even gave me a discount because the hides were worked so well. We really did have a great time. Chet and I spoke today and we plan on coming back, we just need to nail down the days. 

Our time spent with your family is permanently etched in our memory and seeing the ranch and the gorgeous surroundings made us want to return. Thank you so much for sending the video. You have done so much work since we visited, two new cabins and the horse feeding stalls, it is no wonder that you all have the strongest constitution of anyone I have ever met. You gave us memories that will linger forever. Lori misses drinking out of the crystal clear streams and for that matter, we both reminisce with fondness on the great adventure that you provided for us.. Somehow we truly want to visit you again so that we can experience first hand what you live each day. Wanda, all those hunters this past year must have been very grateful that you took on the responsibilities of being the chef.  They probably found it difficult to leave the kitchen to go hunting!
